Salt and Light – April 29

Greetings from Debrecen,

We are so thankful for your faithfulness to pray for us and those whom God has brought into our lives. God continues to sustain us as we seek Him. The girls are making progress in school but please continue to pray for Sophia. I was able to visit with my friend “M,” and her daughter is doing well after being bitten by our neighbors’ dogs. God has still given her an openness. The job that she was suppose to get fell through. We had a successful trip to the immigration office and it was not so long. We had a great visit with “G” and her dad. One of our students asked me to come and hear her present her thesis in English. The world of academics and the brilliant young minds that are being shaped and formed during this time at the university reminds me of how important it is to reach these students with the gospel and the impact that they can have in this world.

Please continue to pray:

  • God’s continued work in the life of our friend “G” and her family.
  • “I,” the student I heard give her presentation, that she would be encouraged and realize how much she needs the Lord to help her and give her peace.
  • We need clear direction in our daily lives as well as for the future. We would have the ability to trust God with what we cannot see.
  • This Saturday will be English worship at the university, pray that God will draw the people he wants there to come.

Thank you so much for your prayers!

One of His servants,

Kimberly Hathcock

P.S. They still have not been able to locate the MK who is missing. Keep praying!
